Mi Casa, Tu Casa

Welcome, welcome!

Home is where the heart is, and, within the breast of everyone, beats a heart with a passion. Be that for Crown Lynn, bicycles, lampshades, spoons, animals both dead and alive, literature, puzzles, artworks, succulents, food, television series', drawing materials, magazines, babies, teddy bears, rocks, technology or umbrellas, MORPH is interested in them all! If you'd love us to add images of your accumulations, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or comment below!
We have been scouting around and photographing peoples living spaces, and perusing their collections of bits and pieces with great interest for this: a series of photo essays to be shown on MORPH.
Aaaannndddd...This month you get to come home with me!
Our big and chilly warehouse in Newmarket is home to Aomame 'peanut' Pussycat (adopted fur baby), David Christopher Duffin (producer, illustrator, skateboarder, MORPH political columnist, husband, surfer and lover of the plaid shirt), Sarah Marie Bing (writer of this article, A Peace MORPH creator, painter, gardener, hater-of-cooking, lover-of-patterned-clothing, illustrator and interior designer), and William Grant Junior Wharakura (creator, fashion designer, illustrator, skateboarder, party pants, stylist and tattooist in training).
We're all collectors: Dave: shoes, artwork, plaid shirts and cd's; Will: everything; and Me...books (Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie), fabric, Dumbo Feather's, old tea cups, shoes I'll never wear...dear oh dear! Despite my best intentions I seem to accumulate stuff without trying.
Anyway, welcome to our home...

Love this column. Was thinking of starting blog calles Show me Your bits, or similar. I too am fascinated about how creatives live. I igonore their visage and peer into the background to check out whats on the shelves! How they adapt what they made or repurposed. Here is a great link for Europe on same subject. I love recieiving it each month. http://www.freundevonfreunden.com/?utm_source=Freunde+von+Freunden+Newsletter&utm_campaign=a55862442f-FvF_Newsletter_228_29_2012&utm_medium=email
