Bethany BennieCity Spaces

Bethany Bennie is a super-qualified shiny new town planner who loves things green and alive (including you because she loves everyone).  Not content to spend her days improving our urban spaces, Beth spends her free time making her Balmoral garden wonderful and wearing lovely old felt berets whilst reading Michael King to her basil plants.

And hooray, hooray!  Aside from the above-mentioned pursuits, Beth is a woman on a mission to save Auckland from itself.  Focused first and foremost on inclusive, livable, friendly public space she can't wait to unleash her innovative and exciting ideas for our sprawling metropolis on us, the faithful readers of her MORPH column!

Beth lives with her husband Jimmy (and when she’s lucky the neighbour’s cat) and delights in viewing the world from the seat of her golden pull-apart bicycle.
